~Nutrition at Kozy Kids
Good nutrition plays an important role in the health of your children and contributes to their mental attitude and behavior. At Kozy Kids, your child will be provided with well-balanced, nutritional meals, which include whole organic grains, fresh organic fruits, organic vegetables, and organic milk. We are a nut-free environment. All snacks and meals are included in your tuition.
If your child will be arriving after breakfast or morning snack is served–please make sure your child has eaten at home before arriving. If they have not eaten and the meal/snack has already been served, they will have to wait until next meal/snack time to eat. For children under 2 years old, meals are on a more flexible schedule as they are not yet ready for certain meal times.
We have a Kozy Kids Family Facebook group! Please, request to join and you can see your child’s day.
Daily reports are sent out using the program Preschool Gazette. This is where you will receive your child’s meals, how much they ate, their potty times, daily pictures, and what they did that day in class. Every month, I send out a statement that contains the number of days your child is scheduled to be at school and multiplied by the daily rate. Our monthly calendar is on the parent board in front entry, this shows days that may be closed, events that are coming up such as Holidays, Birthdays, vacations, closures, music class, our “life bridge” program days and payment reminders. At the end of the year we send out an end of the year statement, this is for tax purposes.
~Life Bridge Program
We have worked out a visiting time with our elders in the Bethany Parc Retirement Home. This is where our kids get to visit and read books with the elders of our community. We will sing songs, read books, do puppet plays, visit and build relationship with the elders. We do this twice a month.
Once a week on Tuesdays we meet at Portland Dance Studio, for music fun with Teacher Grace. This too is included in your tuition.
Is there a registration fee? Yes, a $200 non-refundable fee. This is a startup fee for supplies and reserves your spot.
What is the tuition? Below you will find the daily rates.
What if my child doesn’t attend one day? The days you pick for your child, is the rate you will pay each week, even if your child is absent. If your child is sick or we are closed due to holidays, you are still required to pay the days that you have picked for your child to attend. We are holding this spot for your child.
Our tuition includes: daily art materials, journals, organic foods for breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack, butterflies, ladybugs, praying mantis, vegetable starters new equipment, whatever the season may bring and lots of free hugs and one-on-one attention. Plus, our curriculum program is included in the rates below.
Children under 2 years of age: Please, call for current rates.
Children 3 years of age: Please, call for current rates.
Children 4 and up: Please, call for current rates.
