Program Details
Infants Schedules are individualized and are based off the family’s routines & schedules as well as the infants ques. We give the infant plenty of time for uninterrupted play. Instead of trying to teach babies new skills, we appreciate and admire what babies are doing. Our Teachers take the intentionally teaching approach to support social-emotional, sensory, cognitive, and language and literacy development by reading, and talking every process out. In return teaching the child these critical areas of development.

Good nutrition plays an important role in the health of your children and contributes to their mental attitude and behavior. At Kozy Kids, we ask that each day, you send your child to school with a bento box lunch, that include veggie, fruit, protein and grain, we provide the organic milk. All milk substitutes must be accompanied with a doctors note. Please keep in mind we are a nut-free and sweet free environment. This prepares them for Kindergarten and gives them a feeling of big kid school. Please include silverware for your child. State regulations require that you label all food and beverage containers (not just the lunch box) with your child’s name. If your child’s food needs to be refrigerated, please notify your child’s teacher. We include a healthy morning and afternoon snack for your child and water for your child twice a day.
If your child will be arriving after breakfast or morning snack is served–please make sure your child has eaten at home before arriving. If they have not eaten and the meal/snack has already been served, they will have to wait until next meal/snack time to eat. For children under 2 years old, meals are on a more flexible schedule as they are not yet ready for certain meal times.
If you are sending breastmilk or formula, please label each bottle with your child’s
name and place them in the refrigerator in your child’s classroom. Please note that we
cannot serve an infant under 12 months of age any beverages (including juice or milk)
other than breast milk or formula. We encourage you to provide your child with well-balanced, nutritional meal, which should include whole organic grains, fresh organic fruits, organic vegetables, and organic milk.
We have a Kozy Kids Family Facebook closed group. Please, request to join and be a part of our community.
Annual student pictures are taken by Brubaker Photography and are available for purchase at an affordable price.
Kozy Kids uses a program called Kaymbu to track daily activities, displaying documentation boards for the scaffolding process through our story boards, your child’s homemade nutritious meals and let you know how much they ate, their potty times/diapers, and daily pictures. These reports are sent to you via text and email at the end of each day.
Our yearly calendar is on the parent board in front entry, this shows days’ and events that are coming up such as holidays, vacations, in-services days, and closures.
