Meet Our Director

Hi, my name is Maddie Billings, and I’m the director of Kozy Kids Enrichment Center, where I’ve proudly served since January 2023. My experience working with children of all ages has shaped my heart-first, community-focused approach to early childhood education. I earned my bachelor’s degree in city planning, public policy, and nonprofit management from the University of Oregon, which sparked my passion for inclusive, collaborative environments. I later completed a master’s degree in early childhood inclusive education, which deepened my understanding of child development and strengthened my commitment to individualized, evidence-based care.

My personal mission is to ensure every child and family in our care feels truly seen, valued, and supported. It’s an honor to help shape meaningful early learning experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong growth. When I’m not at Kozy Kids Enrichment Center, I love exploring the beauty of Oregon, whether it’s hiking to waterfalls, beachcombing for agates, or hunting for the best coffee shop or bookstore in Portland. At home, you’ll usually find me relaxing with my cat, Jojo, or spending time with family and friends.
