Ages 3-6
Pre-K
Preparing for the Next Big Adventure
In our Reggio-inspired pre-k class, children take the lead in their learning—asking questions, testing ideas, and building meaningful connections. A morning might begin with a child’s curiosity about how bridges are built, leading to a hands-on experiment with blocks, cardboard tubes, and string. Later, they might record their discoveries in nature journals, sketching the plants they’re growing or measuring how tall their sunflower has become. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, teachers support their ideas by introducing new materials and guiding more exploration, whether through storytelling, science experiments, or collaborative art projects. Outdoors, they build forts, create obstacle courses, or work together on group challenges, strengthening problem-solving and teamwork skills. With each experience, children gain confidence, independence, and a love for learning that will carry them into kindergarten and beyond.
Program Highlights:
- Child-led investigations that build problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Rich opportunities for storytelling, art, science, and nature-based learning.
- A collaborative environment that nurtures confidence, independence, and curiosity.
